Dahlia Mayerson
Dahlia Mayerson graduated from Tenafly High School in 2008. In her four years at THS, Dahlia was fortunate to be cast as Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady, Lady Thiang in The King and I, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Elizabeth Bennett in Pride and Prejudice, Pitti Sing in The Mikado, and acted, wrote and directed for the One Acts Festivals from 2004-2008. She was a Soprano in Honors Choir for three years, and even had the chance to play Queen Elizabeth in Madrigals in the 2008 Christmas season performance. She traveled with the Honors Choir in the 2007-2008 school year to Italy where she performed a duet in an old Italian church. After graduating high school, Dahlia went on to Muhlenberg College to continue her theater studies. Through her theater work, Dahlia discovered her other passion – Psychology, and is currently working on autism research in Manhattan. She is planning on developing theater classes for young people with developmental disabilities. She is both happy and nostalgic to be gracing the Tenafly High School stage again, and is thankful for this unique opportunity.
